Boulder's Buffs Football Team Wins Big!
CU Boulder Football Team Wins 35-13
The University of Colorado Boulder Buffaloes football team won 35-13 against New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday, September 4. The Buffs' won their first game of the 2021 season.
Cornerback Christian Gonzalez had two interceptions.
New Hampshire's Chris Merchant was 18 for 28 passing for 148 yards and a touchdown.
The Buffs had a total of 10 tackles for a loss.
Linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo forced two fumbles and returned one for a touchdown.
Freshman wide receiver Brendon Lewis scored twice.
Marcelino Lopez kicked three field goals for the Buffaloes.
Quarterback Brendon Lewis threw for 226 yards and 3 TDs.
The Buffs' defense held New Hampshire to 263 total yards, including 84 yards rushing.
