Chicago Sky to Build New State-of-the-Art Practice Facility

The Chicago Sky is an American professional basketball team based in Chicago

The Sky compete in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member club of the Eastern Conference.

The team was founded in 2006 and has won one WNBA championship in 2021.

What are the WNBA's next battlegrounds?

The WNBA is planning to expand to 12 teams by 2025 and is looking at several locations as potential expansion sites

Some of the cities that have been mentioned as possible expansion sites include:
• Nashville, Tennessee
• Columbus, Ohio
• Toronto, Ontario
• Monterrey, Mexico

The WNBA is also looking to build a new state-of-the-art practice facility for the Chicago Sky.

The new facility will be located in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.

The facility will include two full-size basketball courts, a weight room, a training room, and offices for the team's staff.

The new facility is expected to be completed in 2023.

The Chicago Sky's investment in a new practice facility shows their commitment to the city of Chicago and to the WNBA.

The new facility will help the Sky continue to compete for WNBA championships and will help the WNBA continue to grow.
